Blessing Box
'Take What You Need - Leave What You Can'
This community-driven resource has proven to be just as it's name states - a blessing. Toiletries, household items, non-perishable food, seasonal necessities, and educational resources are provided for families in need. You can find this Blessing Box right next to the Boost Ministries Foundation's 'Blessing House' at 120 N. Campbell Ave. in Beloit, KS.
Meal Trains
Another one of our main outreaches is providing meals for families who are going through some sort of transition, such as having a baby, recovering from surgery, or experiencing the death of a loved one. This allows the family to have one less thing they need to think about. We have seen amazing collaboration, love, appreciation, and support through this! Meal Train is a very helpful resource to get these set up so people can sign up.
Community Luncheons
We want to feed the community and bring unity! Join us on the first Thursday of the month between 11:00-12:30. Everyone is welcome to either dine-in or curbside carry-out a delicious meal by free-will donation. The food is graciously donated by several people throughout Beloit and the surrounding communities. It is also served by volunteers. The community is really coming together, and we are beyond thankful for every single person who is involved in some way of making this happen!
More Ways We Outreach
Prayer Rocks
A rock is picked out, specifically painted, and prayed over before it is given to an individual experiencing a challenging time. We hope by having this visual, the person feels more at peace.
Bake 'n Takes
Our very own Jeanette Luke bakes for others in her 'Baking to Heal' mission. She provides goodies to businesses, individuals, and families via the Blessing House or in-person deliveries.
Christmas Caroling
La La La! Spreading joy down the halls of nursing homes, assisted living environments, and in the front yards of people that need a little Christmas cheer!
Blessing Bags
Clear bags are filled with snacks, water, socks, and toiletries. A note of encouragement is also enclosed. As we go to different towns and see people in need, we are able to give them one of these bags. We have also put these items in our local Blessing Box.
Food Pantry Collection
We collect non-perishable food items for our local Food Pantry during our annual Boost Your Journey Women's Conference as well as our quarterly Praise & Worship Nights.
Acts of Kindess
We have made cards, painted rocks, sent flowers, and extended words of encouragement to others. We all can make someone else's day a little brighter!
