Meet Our Board of Directors

Kristi is the the Founding Director of Boost Ministries Foundation.  Her life and faith walk changed in October 2015, and she hasn't looked back!  Going from a Speech-Language Pathologist to full-time ministry has been quite a journey!  Kristi is married to Brian, and they are the parents of Alexis and Logan. Kristi's passion is to share and learn more about God's word, pray with people, be an encouragement, and help others in need.  

Rod has been married to Rita for 46 years and live on their century family farm south of Ionia, KS.  Rod is retired from the pork industry.  They have one son, Marty, who is a Deputy Sheriff in Hebron, NE.  Rod found Jesus's saving grace in 2008, and now preaches God's word in Esbon, KS.

Angela was born and raised in Beloit. She loves this community and always planned on returning to Beloit after college. She Graduated from Bethany college with a degree in social work. Angela's passion was always to work with youth. She feels extremely blessed as she has a wonderful husband, Blaine, of 37 years, two sons, Jared and Vincent, and two wonderful daughter-in-law’s, Erin and Brittany.  Angela recently became a grandmother to twin girls.  She loves the Lord and is always excited to grow and learn in my knowledge and relationship with Him. 

Kevin is a farmer rancher.  He is married to the love of his life.  They are the parents to three boys while expecting their fourth child in October.  In Kevin's occupation, he works with God every day.  

 Carol Torkelson is married to Eugene (Gene).  They have 2 grown children, 2 grandchildren with 2 more expected in 2020.  Carol has served in several different leadership roles over the years including her church and her current position with the North Central Regional Planning Commission as Housing Director.  These experiences have given her the sense of service to others that directly relates to Boost Ministries functions.  Since learning the 23rd Psalm in 2nd grade, this has been a long time favorite scripture.
